Oak Creek Canyon - West Fork
Hiked with Michael and Deb Hannigan (renting a place in CW for a month), and Marge Mahoney who just came down to stay at the Hannigan’s VRBO for a few days.
Lots of spaces in the parking lot when we arrived, but totally full when we left.
Started early, cool weather, trail a bit icy in spots. DEFINITELY needed trekking poles over the 13 water crossings (shallow water, but over logs and rocks).
One VERY icy place close to the log jam after the 13th crossing.
Had lunch at Wildflowers afterwards.
