Pack Monadnock Mountain Loop via Marion Davis Trail and Wapack Trail
Overview
This is a easy loop trail to Pack Monadnock Mountain in Miller State Park.
This trail goes by Joanne Bird Kane Land.
The Marion Davis Trail climbs the east side of the mountain and so is protected from west winds and is a great hike for watching the sunrise.
Once at the top, walk to the west side of the mountain and view Mount Monadnock. On our last clear hike we saw Mount Washington, Mount Lafayette and the Boston skyline.
Getting Started
The trail leaves the northeast corner of the Miller State Park lot. (Right side) It is very well blazed. Wear microspikes if hiking in winter.
Taking Children
This is a challenging hike for young children but a motivated child can climb this small mountain. Once at the top, there is a gift store, a fire tower, views toward Boston and the White Mountains.
