Overview

This is a moderate, high traffic road and trail from the mouth of Green Canyon, ending at the Green Canyon Yurt area and Mt. Naomi Peak trailhead. Green Canyon is accessible all year, and is open in the summer to hiking / walking, mountain biking, and horse riding. During the winter, the Utah Nordic Alliance maintains and grooms the trail for Cross Country Skiing. For more info please visit:

Getting Started

This trail runs parallel with a dirt road fit for most vehicles. The road is only accessible by vehicles from around early April to mid-November, with a second gate usually opening early June. The trail intersects with the road multiple times, but never strays more than 20 feet away from the road.

Taking Children

This is a great trail and road for children. There are public restrooms at the campground, and lots of wilderness to explore!
