Parking in the area is crowded. Was a long walk just to get to the trailhead. Trail is listed at the mountain as very difficult. Was harder than I expected for something that is a tourist attraction but well worth it at the summit.

Camelback mountain was amazing but as of right now 12/3/21 the Cholla trailhead is closed. I’m not sure when it’s supposed to reopen, but you can still do the hike via Echo Canyon on McDonald rd. The echo canyon trailhead has water and facilities at the base before you start.
