Stehekin Backpacking Trip
Campgrounds reserved for Stehekin shakeout hike. We'll stage and finish at Lake Chelan State Park. Here's our rough schedule:
4/20 - meet at Lake Chelan State Park
4/21 - drive 8 miles boarding area for ferry which departs at 10:20am. Hike, hopefully to Moore Point camp which is 11 miles...there are camps a bit closer if needed.
4/22 - hike remaining 7 miles to Stehekin, explore a little time permitting. Take ferry at 1:30 back. Go get plentiful refuel of beer and food. Camp at Lake Chelan again.
4/23 - drive home.
Lake Chelan looks like a decent camp...had toilets/showers and plenty of restaurants within reasonable distance.
Tomorrow, I'll book the ferry reservations.
