Bald Butte
An-almost summer hike on an 80-degree day along the Oak Ridge Trail to Surveyor's Ridge, and along the Surveyor's Ridge trail to the top of Bald Butte (which isn't totally bald) at 3,779 feet. Great views, balsamroots gone to seed but lots of lupine, bachelor's button, ceanothus, columbine, vanilla leaf, and Columbia lily in bloom. And even a large crew filming a movie on the slopes of Bald Butte!
