Fountain Valley Trail and Willow Creek Trail Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a easy loop trail to Lyons Overlook in Colorado.

This trail goes by Fountain Valley Overlook.

This is a nice, easier (less elevation gain) loop through Roxborough State Park with great views. Keep your eyes and ears open for wildlife!

Note that Roxborough State Park does not allow dogs or bikes.

Getting Started

Note that park hours vary throughout the year, check park website (https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/Roxborough/Pages/Conditions.aspx) or call for current hours before you go. Entrance usually closes 1/2 hour before park close time. The hours listed in google search results etc. are not always up to date.

Taking Children

This would probably be a good hike for children, since it is relatively flat. The Fountain Valley trail (the north portion of the loop) is wide and would be better for strollers.
