Maroon - 4 Passes Loop Clockwise Day 1 (8/16/18)
This was Day 1 of my hike with my hiking buddy, Kevin Thueson. Coming from an elevation of 600', we decided to camp at just 11,000' the first night. We started after the afternoon showers at the beautiful Maroon Lake (9,600'), and made our way over remarkably rugged terrain to the dried up Crater Lake, then had a continual, upward trail to camp.
