Overview

This is a moderate out and back trail in Daniel Boone National Forest. Have done this hike 4x now and it always awes me for its lush forest, two 40’+ waterfalls, and The Cascades (a series of 4-5 Class IV-VI ledges) on Bark Camp Creek. However, the path is about 70% short ups and downs so the mileage doesn't match the effort - it probably will feel like 7-8 miles..

Getting Started

I-75 exit 25, turn west. Drive 4.7 miles. Right on KY 1193. Drive 4.6 miles. Straight onto 1277. Drive 1.2 miles. Left on Forest Service Road 193. Drive 1.7 miles to Bark Camp Creek and should parking on right at trail head.
