Overview
This is a easy out and back trail in Waterton Lakes National Park.
This trail goes by Waterton Lakes NP Visitors Centre and Upper Waterton Lake.

Great trail with excellent views from the viewpoint. Above picture of the steps on the trail seems to be outdated as the whole trail is now a gravel path and not an exposed ground.
The 1st half of the trail is mostly a path with a few steps while the 2nd half is mainly steps and is much steeper. There are also a couple of benches along the trail to get some rest if you need it.
It was very windy at the top so a jacket is recommended (and possibly a hat/hoody).
