Escondido Falls
This is a short trip to a nice, mossy waterfall. I decided to take advantage of all the rain we've been getting to see Escondido Falls. Contrary to the name, it seemed like everyone knew EXACTLY where these falls were and they were out in force on Sunday! The mileage (3.5 miles) is from the parking lot just off PCH and includes about a mile of walking along an asphalt road. I would recommend hiking this on a weekday to avoid the crowds, but that may be true of all hikes near L.A...
