Overview
This is a moderate loop trail in Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve. Mostly flat. Lots of families, runners, and mountain bikers on the trail. Nice community feeling on the trail, but not a great place to get put in nature alone. The trail follows the creek, about 15% in the shade of sycamores.
