Overview
This is a easy loop trail to Warspite Cascade in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
Black Prince Cirque.
Easy trail with minimal elevation gain. Lake dries up in late summer. Good winter hike as long as you do not go past the trees across the lake into avy terrain.
Getting Started
Park at the Black Prince parking lot off the Smith Dorrien Highway. Trail is well marked
Taking Children
Great for kids. Easy short wide trail. No exposure unless you cross the lake in the winter (avalanche terrain on the opposite side of the lake but safe if you do not cross it).
