Overview
This is a great hike that takes you through a beautiful nature preserve with a shale outcroppings and a big rock shelter. It's the most unique place in the whole Morgan Monroe State Forest. There's a little bit of elevation, but it's not too bad.
Getting Started
If you are coming from the south on North Bean Blossom Road, you will turn right at the T and the parking area will be the first thing on your right. The trailhead is right where you park.
Taking Children
This could be a good hike for either children or dogs. It's not super long and there are some nice and interesting things to see along the way.
