Pretty easy trail with steady moderate incline. Extremely rocky walking path. Insane amount of gnats, especially by the water pools. Saw several colorful lizards, frogs, squirrels, and dragon flies along the way. Little to no shade the length of the trail. Overall a pretty easy there and back again hike.

Nice out and back trail for the family. Fairly busy when we went on a Sunday morning. We got there early, which was nice because there was parking available. Many signs posted warning to not park on the side of the road. Only use designated parking spots. The reward at the end point was well work the work.
