Falls Creek Falls
This is a easy out and back trail to Falls Creek Falls in Gifford Pinchot National Forest.
It tends to be crowded on weekends but well worth it. About 3/4 of a mile from the end there is a trail to the left heading uphill for 1/2 miles. at the top turn right climbing a rather steep hill and end up on a beautiful flat plateau views down to Falls creek. The woods are beautiful and the trail flat. Continue to a lovely stream side camp. You can continue one mile further to a wetland where Elk can sometimes be seen.
The road to the falls is full of pot holes but easily passable. Lots of good parking at the trail head and an outhouse.
Good hike for kids to the falls. Be careful on a couple of narrow sections and at the falls
