Willow lake is beautiful. We got to see it surrounded by snow and it was still thawing. There were a ton of marmots and a few ducks. Post holing through the snow added to the experience. We couldn’t see the trail but it wasn’t an issue since we were guided by gps.

Short and sweet. The trail split to the left just a 100’ from the trailhead is less steep than going to the right. The Lake is low but the moose doesn’t seem to mind.

Willow Lake Tr
Very fun trek through the snow. We saw marmots, ducks and a ton of new plant growth. The half frozen lake was amazing.
