Perimeter Trail - Full Loop(edit)

Overview

This is a difficult loop trail in Uncompahgre National Forest.

This trail goes by Cascade Falls and Amphitheatre Campground.

The perimeter trail can be accessed from many locations. The full loop is closer to 6 miles 1700 vertical gain. There are lots of exposed sections and high traffic. There will be many runners on this trail. The trail accesses rock climbing routes, canyoning routes and many other hiking trails. Look for the white p trail signage. The signage has a map but is hard to read. Just follow the arrows.

Between the pool wall section and the sandias there is a bit of road walking (Oak Street to Queen Street)
