Beautiful area and a relatively simple hike once you've put the initial climb up the ridge behind you. By the lake(s), the views of the Cathedral range etc. are wonderful! I couldn't find a connector trail from middle Gaylor Lake to Granite Lakes, I just walked there with the help of the nap. There is a use trail along the shore of Lower Granite Lake though. Maybe it connects to Lower Gaylor Lake (different trailhead). Where Lower Granite Lake ends and the creek connects it to Upper Granite Lake the use trail peters out, once more I found my own way, to upper Gaylor Lake this time, with the map. There's also a nice use trail around Upper Gaylor Lake.
