Fairly flat, with mild incline and decline. Fairly easy hike. Not overgrown. Would have good views in winter. Road to it was all paved and nice (Blue Ridge Pkwy) had beautiful views. This was Candy and Sue’s next to last hike to complete maps 1 & 2. Would do hike again if it wasn’t si far to drive. I met Ray at Cracker Barrel Newport and drove from there. Long drive there and also home. Mild day, 70s and sunny but in the shade most if hike. Long drive on Heintooga Rd, gravel, not too bad, just potholes. Did this hike same day as Spruce Mtn
