Another hot day and the surety of an end pub, so I left the backpack behind and stowed a spare shirt in my pocket. Started well at 3.7mph but the heat and terrain took it's toll to average just 3.2mph. Saw no other walkers. Really nice crispy salad and 2 pints at The Waggon & Horses and coffee and cake at Devizes.
