Return to Cliff Lake 2022! (7/2/22, 6:24:08PM)

Left at ~11:30 a.m. from Santa Cruz, at trailhead around 6ish? Got gas at Love’s in Madera, way cheaper than Santa Cruz ($5.75/gal which is insane but, in SC, it was $5.99 af Costco). We started hiking around 6:30, made it to camp around 9. 11 was too late! Beautiful, gentle hike overall. Plenty of mosquitoes on the hike in, July 2, 2022. Calm, quiet and (mostly) mosquito free at Cliff Lake! Many great camping spots on north side of lake, including on the northwest side below the cliff
