Steep climb up Section Line trail. Tigers 3-2-1 were really nice and covered in soft snow. The route over to east tiger off the backside of tiger 1 is not clearly marked. The trail for bootleg does not have very good signage and the physical signs on the trails over towards east tiger are non existent. You basically have to follow a real time gps tracker to make sure you are on your planned route. Getting over to the east tiger mntn trail was difficult because it was snowing and I was the first person to go over onto that trail. The only other tracks out there were for animal, most likely a Cat of some kind. Once I got to the summit trail I ran into a set of runners tracks that had come down from the summit. On the mntn bike trail there was a few sets of tire tracks. East Tiger summit was awesome because of about a foot of nice soft snow to run on. The view was lacking due to clouds and fog. The road down from the east tiger summit over to middle tiger was great and I got to say hi to other runners. It is really nice to get to see people after being alone for a few hours on the trails. The Sun warmed up the logging road over to middle. The climb up Middle tiger is super steep! By this time my legs were getting toast and I ran out of water and food. There were about 4-5 other runners coming over the top of middle from the other side. Running down the south side of middle was fast and fun. I turned right and ran/walked the way back on the TMT. An older guy named Glen showed me a natural water spring on the TMT that has really refreshing cold water coming out year round. This saved me for sure!! Once the TMT intersected the trail between Tiger 3-2, I turned left and ran the trail over Tiger 3 down to high point trail head. It was an awesome adventure!! It is a great 18+ mile loop and I would do it again and take more calories and more water.
