I took Lambs Canyon Trail up over Lambs Canyon Pass into Millcreek Canyon. From there I followed the Mount Aire Trail to the peak which wasn't very exciting. OpenStreetMap shows a trail along the ridge from Mount Aire to Lambs Canyon Pass. It was a lie. There was "trail" for a few feet by the pass, but it was otherwise scrub oak, rocks, and wildflowers with an occasional deer trail. Lambs Canyon was nice enough that I could wear sandals. Hiking shoes were required for the ridge. As for animals. There were several snakes along the main trails and a ground squirrel along the ridge. There was also fresh, smelly bear poop along the ridge just before Lambs Canyon Pass. Everything was too fast for pictures and the views weren't impressive.
