2024 10 29 Defiance

Moving time to top 2hr 51min. Met David (620-213-5875) with two labs above the switch backs. Thought imhe was in shape since he kept up with me for a ways but then realized he wasn't after I asked her he might like to hike sometime this winter. Followed two 20 something's to traverse below the summit but stopped for a bite so the could put in more steps since there was now 10" of snow. Caught them just as they summited. Coming back saw only our 3 tracks so David only made it to Mason.
