Three Peaks Challenge, 13 Sep 2025
I challenged myself to hike all three hike peaks in the Mt Rose Wilderness in a single day: Relay Peak, Mount Houghton and finally Mt Rose. As you can see from the profile, because you lose so much elevation coming down from Mount Houghton, you are basically climbing back up to Mt Rose a second time, making it very challenging indeed.
