Holy Cross Mountain is a fun scramble with a narrow ridge to the summit. It's not well known, so the rock is in great shape. Hike up Gunnery Creek, then curve around the base of the south flank of Holy Cross. Descend into the valley between the flanks, then hike up to the north ridge. Once on the ridge, scramble up the spine to the summit. Descend in the bowl, via the hiking route below. Alternate hiking route: after hiking down the south flank, hike straight up the gully, to climber's right of the waterfalls/stream. Descend the same way.
