This trail is easy to moderate with some areas of mud and downed trees. For the most part, the trail is clear with lots of great panoramic views of the lake. We have had a lot of rain lately, so we expected it to be very muddy, but the fallen leaves and good drainage seemed to keep it pretty dry/clean. We went a little past where the trail "ends", but there is a lot more trail beyond that is cleared and easy to navigate. If you have time and energy, I recommend you keep it going! As always, the Oregon air is crisp and clean, so this is a great afternoon stroll through the woods for a little peaceful time with Mother Earth!
