Ypsilon Mountain Sunrise with Jay (RMNP)
We started with a spectacular view of the night stars, including the Milky Way… Then we summited Ypsilon Mountain just as the sun was rising… On the way back, we decided to get a quick summit of Mount Chiquita… And then we had an amazing encounter with Rocky Mountain wildlife as we crossed beneath Mount Chapin — including 18 bull elk, 3 deer, 3 ptarmigans, 3 deer, 2 marmots, and 1 pika.
