Exploratory ride around Trout Creek Butte and environs. The main roads are in great shape, lots of gravel and red cinder. The side trails are in horrible shape, mostly closed or obstructed by fallen trees and heavy brush. They have not been maintained and the parts that are open are rocky The area surrounding Trout Creek Butte is badly burned, which is probably why the trails are in such bad shape.
