wmw60 Brockenhurst to Beaulieu Rd

Well that’s it, my last WMW walk for the year. I’m taking up a different challenge next year and then who knows? My brother Stuart joined me today which was great, and though we chatted away we still managed an average speed of 3.1mph. The sun came out as forecast and the walk was glorious, only marred by some lacksidazical map reading by yours truely, which meant we ended up walking 11miles. We were further snookered at Beaulieu Road because the winter rail timetable had started yesterday and trains were 2 hourly. We had time for a drink at the Drift Inn but not lunch. Despite all this, it was a great walk to finish the year with - thanks Stuart.
