Jacob's Stairway is located in the Lost Corner area, around 30-40 mins north of Morrilton. This Fall is at the bottom of a series of smaller falls that stagger their way down the drainage creek. This hike isn't lengthy, and if you have a higher clearance vehicle than I do, then you could save at least another 1/3rd of a mile by parking at the 4WD spot indicated. This is a moderate bushwhack with no established trail to follow. At the time of writing, the undergrowth hadn't taken hold for the season again yet, but the slopes to the creek bed are of softer soil and loose rocks in places. There are no significant obstacles to navigate other than what you could expect with any Ozark Bushwhack. Google maps will take you to the GPS co-ordinates listed for parking, and there are several ways to access the Lost Corner area. In all cases, the dirt roads leading to this spot can be very muddy in places, and cell signal is intermittent at best. If you choose to follow my track, I'd recommend you go the opposite direction to me. I got a little suckered following a trodden path that actually leads away form the falls!
