Danielle generous to drive to the trailhead. Beautiful sunny day, mild breeze early on. Lots of super cute marmot everywhere, and the occasional pila. After less than 1 mile you end up above timberline and the rest of the hike is exposed. Amazing wildflowers blanketing the tundra, views are beyond incredible. We had the peak to ourselves for more than an hour, while we enjoyed lunch and exploring the boulders up top. Had great conversations and lots of laughs. What a day!!
