Piedra Blanca Trail
From North end, off Lockwood Valley Road, with Terry.
Nice day, comfortable and dry, a bit of snow on the trail, and much on the north side of Pine Mountain above us. Lots of botanical variety - spruce and cedar saplings next to manzanita and juniper. Beautiful old growth cedar trees at the first campsite, three miles from the trailhead. More acorns on the first mile of the trail than we've ever seen in our lives.
