Icefall Traverse D2 Mons Hut to Lyell Hut

This is Day Two of the Icefall Traverse, and we skied from Mons Hut to Lyell Hut. Despite it being overcast, it was super hot on our ascent from the Mons Hut. I was stripped down to almost nothing. LONG and difficult ski descent on a thick but breakable crust. Sigh... Took forever to ski down. Jesse set the PERFECT line through the moraines. Minor double-poling, but no faffing and we did not have to put on the skins once. Amazing. As we skied up to the Lyell Hut, it was now freezing cold with high winds and zero visability. Brrr.
