Galehead Mountain via Gail River Trail track
I did this hike at a much faster pace than my average for 4000 footer hikes. There weren't any real steep and difficult sections. I think this is the case for most primary trails that service huts. The trail was well maintained and mostly dry.
The summit was marked with a large cairn in a clearing in the woods. There also was a good lookout just below the summit with a clear view towards the twins.
With Gailhead Hut close to the halfway point of the hike, I only needed to carry half the usual allotment of water and refill at the hut.
