Capitol Gorge Trail At the end of the paved Scenic Drive we continued on the unpaved Capitol Gorge Road to it's end. From there we continued by foot on Capitol Gorge Trail to the trailhead to The Tanks Trail where we turned around after a short siesta in the shadow of the canyon wall. Along the way we saw several petroglyphs (see pictures) We also iron spokes driven into the canyon wall to support telephone wires (see picture).
