Two Mikes, Two Bikes, Seven Sisters, One incredible day. Amazing full-day ride from Catavina to Santa Rosalita along Pacific Coast and across the Seven Sisters (points, bays and beaches). Great ride for intermediate level adventure motorcycle rider. We rode our 2015 GS 800 and they served us well. One of the Mikes dropped his bike three times while the other didn't drop at all. :) You’ll experience every imageable type of terrain through the 135 miles of dirt track. There’s a decent amount of sand at the beginning and some tricky spots from extreme volcanic rock and gravel inclines and declines to extreme dust powder bowls (2 feet deep) in low flat areas. We left Catavina at 8:30am and arrived to highway intersection near Santa Rosalillita around 4:30 pm so dirt segment took about 8 hours but we stopped and rested a couple of times. It was a long ride but well worth it. After dirt track, we jumped on the highway and blasted at +75mph to arrive at BLA by 6:00pm. We found a nice beachfront cabana at Los Veintos.
