Cuyahoga Valley NP - Haskell Run Trail & Ledges Trail
While there may be slightly better ledges in the area (e.g., Nelson-Kennedy), there are none better in the National Park and these are of substantial height and length. The leafless trees allowed for better views atop the ledges in the overlook area. While the snow had generally melted over the last few days, there remained ice on some areas of the trails here, though it was generally not too slick. One exception was a cavernous area between ledges where the ground was still covered with a sheet of slick ice. Both Winnie and I separately had falls in that section. Very uncrowded on this dreary Friday afternoon; I encountered fewer than a dozen people, a minuscule amount for this immensely popular trail.
With Winnie.
