Mount Healy Overlook Trail How to Access This Trail Head: From the Denali Visitor Center, hike about half a mile on the Taiga Trail, until you reach a trail junction with the start of the Mount Healy Trail. This trail is one-way, so your return is the way you came. This trail is one of the most strenuous in the park. Hiking beyond the trail is permitted, but the terrain grows very steep and is not recommended unless you are comfortable hiking off trail. The Mount Healy Trail terminates about halfway up Mount Healy, offering a scenic view of the park entrance area. https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/overlook.htm Video = http://go.usa.gov/Bcad PDF = http://go.usa.gov/BcxP https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/upload/Featured-Trails-2015-1.pdf https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/dayhiking.htm#deets Description: An increasingly steep hike out of the forest and into the alpine country, with potential views of Denali, if skies are clear.
