The Forked Mountain Falls Trail is a relatively easy and well trodden trail that takes you past a couple of smaller falls and swim holes along the way. There is an off shoot to the trail that does require you crossing Cedar Creek if you'd like to head on up to Twist Cascade.

Located in the Flatside Wilderness area, there are several hiking options around here.
Google maps will get you to the parking location at Forked Mountain Bluff. The parking area is well used as a primitive camping area in the warmer months.

If driving from Hwy 7, you have about 5 miles of forest road known as Trail 86 before 3/4 mile on FS 793. Trail 86 is usually in good shape, although it can get muddy in many places after heavy rain. FS 793 is a lot rougher, and while most vehicles could make this short section of a drive, 2WD isn't advised in bad weather conditions.
