Valley View Woods (Vill. of Valley View)
This is a suburban park, and although the hiking trail goes alongside some forest (and a bit into it), you are always either close to or right alongside the ball fields, playgrounds, parking lots, etc. Although the wooded scenery is nice (there are some scenic ravines), the short amount of distance actually in the woods is probably not worth it.
