Plenty of water along slave falls, if you do not like river crossings, take the right at the gravel road when you signs for Laurel creek and follow it until you hit sawmill and you can take that to another trail to avoid water crossings, also plenty of water along Jmt until youre in-between the bridge that says 4 miles to station creek and station creek/JMT intersection
