Odlum Ridge is a seldom visited peak located south of Highwood Pass. While the ridge is a lovely hike with gorgeous views and interesting rock formations, there is a 3 km section of Willow Whip to deal with. The ascent is steep, as only an unofficial K Country trail can be. Did I mention the Highwood River crossing to start? I went in the fall with low flow levels, but spring would be a challenge.
