Joseph H. Williams Tallgrass Prairie Preserve (Nature Conservancy) - Study Trail

A very cool nature preserve protecting the largest piece of Tallgrass prairie left on the planet. Wild bison roam the preserve. I saw several, including one very up close, while at the preserve, though not on this hike. The nature trails are on an ungrazed area of the preserve (for safety, I assume). But the trail was very cool and reached solitude very quickly. Loads of grasshoppers, butterflies, and birds throughout. I wanted to also do the Prairie Earth Trail, but my time ended up being limited and it was an extraordinarily hot day (temperature in the 90s with heat index over 100).
