Hike in Tierney's Woods 2025-04-03 1610 Renner and Martha We set out on this trail to ensure that the hike would generate enough back pain to test the effectiveness of a medial nerve block scheduled for next week. I believe it succeeded. During our hike, we encountered a section of the trail that was closed to protect a steep area from further erosion. The detour led along the base of the hill and then angled back to reconnect with the original trail at the top. While it was a longer route, it was less steep. This trail may become our "go-to" option when we move to Friendship Village, an adjacent continuing care community.
