Friday was opening day for archery bull, got off work around four and came out scouting an area that looked good. Had a bull come in to 80 yards with a bunch of cows. Stayed the night at the cabin. Came out here Saturday morning and wanted to hike. Found a cool unmarked tank on the edge of the clearing. Would be great if the heard is out here again. There was a hunter sitting the tank so I backed out and didn’t get a chance to see how full it was or look at blind setups. I hiked away from the hunter and set up one coyote stand, glassed a bull way out in the distance that must have been bumped by another hunter cause he was on the move down into a canyon. Then hiked back out.
