This is the route from Daffern's guides up the west ridge of Moose Mountain from the Powderface Trail (road). There is a long, flat but pleasant approach up the old access road. But then the route cuts off the road with some relatively easy bushwhacking up a small valley, with a steep climb up to a col on the access ridge. The ridge climbs up through open, very pleasant trees and meadows to the alpine, and then a straightforward grunt up to the ridge. Great views.
Continuing on to Moose mtn is possible, but I didn't do that. There's a dip to a flat plain, and then a climb to the top.
