A long trail to an overlook of the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon - Parashant National Monument. It is 73 enjoyable miles from pavement in St. George to the overlook high above the Colorado River.
A mostly graded road taking you into the Bull Valley Mountains and the old mining area called Goldstrike, plus a slightly bumpier spur to the Lone Pine Arch.
Kolob Plateau is an easy road that can be driven by any vehicle with a bit of extra clearance. The northern 8 miles are paved, as is the section south of Kolob Reservoir. The central portion of the main road, and the Zion overlook spur, are well graded.
