Better than expected weather. Snow line around 4000'. Snowshoes from 4600' to Marmot Pass. Heavy snow above 5000'. Quite a slog from there to the pass. Passed thru one area of avalanche debris around 5400'. The other chutes did not appear to present significant avy hazard.
Beautiful day from upper trailhead. Micro spikes the whole way. Carried the snowshoes. Did not need them.
Great views of Canada, Mt Baker, Glacier Peak, Mt Rainier, Mt Adams, St Helens. Seattle in the clouds for much of the trip.
